Hey guys, Soren here. I mentioned around this time last month that I was going to be trying out Dugi’s WoW Dailies Guide and getting back to you with a review.
Well, I’ve had about a month to put Dugi’s Dailies Guide through its paces, and I’ve gotta say I’m pretty happy with it so far.
So, here’s what I’ve got put together for you today. Dugi’s Dailies guide consists of two parts. The first part is a pretty decent online guide that covers some of the Northrend dailies, as well as the seasonal events.
The second part, the real meat of the guide, is reserved for the paying members. You get an addon that will show you exactly where to go to do pretty much any combination of dailies that you can dream up. It’s really easy to setup, drag, drop, and enable like any other addon. Once you get in game, you’ve got a menu system that’s really easy to navigate that lets you choose your daily quest regimen for the day, and a big glowing arrow that points you in the direction of your next quest objective.
So what’s this going to do for you? Well, it’s pretty simple. Following this addon will probably cut a couple of hours off of the time you spend doing dailies every day. This means that you can spend less time doing daily quests, and more time doing whatever it is that you love to do in WoW, be it PVP, raiding, roleplaying, or just chilling and talking to friends. And the best part is, you can still make lots of gold and keep gaining rep.
I’m going to be honest here. The guide isn’t perfect. If it was, it would do your dailies for you, or at least give you some trick to get them all done in under an hour. It doesn’t do that. All it’s going to do for you is give you the most direct path to get 25 dailies done in under 2 hours. It’s not a miracle solution, but it is definitely the quickest, easiest, and most convenient way to burn through your dailies. If you’re the type of player that does daily quests regularly, you’ll realize how valuable this addon is.
Now, if that sounds like you, here’s what I want you to do. There’s a big link right below this post that will take you to the official website for Dugi’s Dailies Guide. I want you to click it, go to the website, and just check it out. If you like what you see, go ahead and grab a copy from him. He’s got a 60 day refund policy, so if you like it, keep it, and if you think it sucks, get your money back. At the very least, you definitely want to sign up for the free section. There’s some good content in there, and you can’t beat the price.
Either way, drop me a comment below and let me know what you like or don’t like about it.

Just thought I’d drop in and give you guys a heads up on a source of gold that a lot of people seem to be overlooking. It’s understandable, because for most of TBC era WoW, cooking was kind of the redheaded step child of the secondary professions, but in WOTLK, that’s all changed. The Dalaran cooking daily quests are great, and the rewards you get out of them can make you a fortune. Here’s the lowdown.
The cooking trainers in Dalaran will offer these dailies to you starting at level 65. There are 5 of them, with 1 randomly assigned every day. All of these daily quests require either Chilled Meat or Rhino Meat, so make sure to keep some handy. In addition to the meats, you’ll be sent around Dalaran on a scavenger hunt for the remaining items. Here are the locations for each of them:
Half Full Wine Glasses: The Inn for your faction, the cheese shop, the Legerdemain Lounge and Violet Hold
Aged Limburger: Basement of the cheese shop, on a table.
Jug of Wine: Also in the basement of the cheese shop.
Wild Mustard: Grassy areas within Dalaran, i.e. flightmaster’s area, central courtyard.
Infused Mushrooms: In the sewers. The arena area has a ton.
Crystalsong Carrots: Use the crystal in Runeweaver square to get down to the forest. You can find the carrots along the river and around trees.
Once you’ve got those items, combine them in the special container the NPC gave you, then turn them in. You get 1 cooking award for each turn in other than Mustard Dogs, which will get you 2 awards.
Now, what do you do with these awards? Well, this is where the money making part comes in. Choose the recipes for foods that directly affect DPS stats, then make the foods and sell them on the auction house. If you know what night the majority of your server’s big guilds raid on, put them up about 24 hours in advance and watch the money flow in.
Continue Reading »As someone who has played World of Warcraft since release, I’ve been kind of slow on the leveling curve. I just dinged 80 on my second character a full year after the release of Wrath of the Lich King. Anyway, Soren’s a human mage of questionable gear and low funds at the moment, so I’ve decided to throw him into the WoW daily quests grind.
Now when I got my death knight to 80 it wasn’t so bad. I ran dailies with a few friends who helped me make sense of it all, and after they quit, I rerolled Alliance to try out the other side of the game. Here’s the problem though. Figuring out exactly how to sort out all of your WoW daily quests is brutal! Maybe you’re better at organizing yourself than I am, but when there are different dailies for different factions in every single zone in Northrend, I get a little bit overwhelmed.
As I mentioned before, my leveling speed was hopeless, so I picked up one of those leveling guides with the big glowing arrow that tells you “go here, do this, talk to this guy etc.” and MAN did it ever speed things up. If I had done it without the in-game addon, I would have taken WAY longer. So I hit 80, and all of a sudden my glowing arrow of awesome has become useless. I felt lost.
Fast forward a few days, and I get an email from the site where I got my leveling guide telling me about something that sounds EXACTLY like a leveling guide, except for daily quests! Woo, my golden ticket has arrived!
So here’s the deal. I went ahead and got the WoW daily quests guide last night, and I’m hoping that it will give me the same kind of autopilot simplicity that the leveling guide did. I’m going to give it a couple of weeks and let you know how it goes. I’ll post up a full review, the good, the bad, and the ugly, and let you know if its worth getting. Chat soon.
